About Ashley Brown

image
I'm a meteorologist born and raised in Indianapolis, with more than 20 years of experience as an on-camera meteorologist. Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work in markets across the country, including at the ABC affiliate in Palm Springs, California. Later, I had the opportunity to fill in as a weekend meteorologist for *Good Morning America* in New York City. Most recently, I spent nearly seven years as Chief Meteorologist in my hometown of Indianapolis. Forecasting has always been my passion, and it's something I truly miss. Over the past year, I've enjoyed taking a much-needed break from the daily demands of a chief meteorologist role to spend more time with my kids and work on writing a book. While I've appreciated this time away, I would love to find my way back to forecasting. I'm particularly interested in part-time opportunities or freelance work that would allow me to stay connected to the field I love while bringing my experience and passion for weather to a team. I'd welcome the opportunity to connect and explore any possibilities that might be a good fit.
